Gentler Streak and The Outsiders are iPhone Duo Ready on Day 1
Both apps now come with a sidebar and navigation built for iPhone Duo, and support every screen mode: outer screen, inner screen in portrait and landscape, and side by side with another app.

Sidebar & Navigation
With iOS 27, both apps automatically adapt their layout to fit any screen size. Gentler Streak and The Outsiders have also embraced the new sidebar navigation and all the new user experience novelties.

We made sure both apps support iPhone Duo’s various poses, from closed to open, landscape and portrait.

Built in the Dark
This is the first time we’ve adapted our apps for a brand new device without having it in hand, and without best-practice examples to learn from. We worked to make both apps feel native, and they are good enough to start with. Once we’ve spent time with the device, we’ll refine the experience further.
We’re small, independent, and building Gentler Streak and The Outsiders the way we believe apps should be built, with care and attention to detail, and without outside pressure to prioritize growth over experience. That means always putting people’s privacy, time, and autonomy first.
