Closing Out 2025: What’s New in Gentler Streak and The Outsiders
Before we close the office doors for this year, we’re sharing a joint update across our apps. It’s been another full year for us, adding new features to baby no. 1, Gentler Streak, and releasing an entirely new app for folks who are very serious about their training, The Outsiders. For a team of eight, that feels like quite a feat. It was a challenge, and still is, but we seem to have a habit of taking those on.
Both apps are growing in their own way, but they come from the same place: a belief that thoughtful design can support both wellbeing and training, without pressure or noise.
We approach the work the same way. As a craft. Small team, hands-on decisions, and a lot of care for how user experience is created.
Here’s a quick look at what came out of our studio in December, and what’s still still to come before 2025 comes to a close.
Gentler Streak
2025 Activity Recap
The yearly Activity Recap has been a user favorite since we launched it in 2022. Today, when there’s a recap for just about anything, from LinkedIn engagement to grocery shopping habits, it may no longer feel particularly special, but it still remains a neat summary of your Fitness data, one we see people are asking for on social media.
The Recap takes a user’s full year of movement and turns it into a carefully crafted, animated story. It’s designed to feel relatable and reflective, not competitive. Rather than focusing on raw numbers alone, it highlights what you enjoyed this year, your consistency, and adds a few playful touches along the way.
It reflects the core values behind Gentler Streak:
A kinder, more human approach to fitness, without taking ourselves or active life too seriously
High-quality visual design
Meaningful insight, without overwhelming you
A focus on sustainable activity, not pressure
The 2025 Activity Recap is available now to all users.

The Outsiders
Start 2026 by setting some training goals
To support the start of 2026, we’re introducing Training Goals, a more structured way to set and track longer-term objectives. The feature will be available on the App Store from December 29 on.
You will be able to:
Choose a workout type
Select a metric: total distance, total duration, total active energy, total training load, or total elevation gain
Define a time frame: week, month, or year
The feature is designed to support deliberate training decisions, provide context for your training.

Now available in 10 languages
Version 1.4 expanded The Outsiders to a broader international audience. We are super happy the app is now available in German, Italian, French, Spanish (Mexico), Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese Simplified, and Chinese Traditional.

Apple Watch Complications
Apple Watch complications were one of the most requested features for the app, and we have added two about a month ago. They make for a quick, glanceable insight directly from the watch face, designed to help you stay informed without friction. The two complications, that come in various forms, are:
Training Readiness
Training Load Ratio

And that is it for our last 2025 recap.
Thank you for supporting us along the way. Here’s to a happy, healthy, and content 2026! See you on the other side.
